Sourdough Fundraiser for Middletown Prime Time Early Learning Center

We are fundraising for the creation of a sensory room in our school.  This space will provide a calm and supportive environment for children who may need to step away from the classroom for a short time in order to regulate their emotions, refocus, and return ready to learn.

Children experience the school day in many different ways, and some students benefit greatly from having access to a quiet, structured space designed to support sensory and emotional needs.  A sensory room can include tools such as sensory equipment and quiet activities that help students decompress, reduce stress, and regain focus.

Providing this type of space helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.  When children are supported in managing their emotions and sensory needs, they are better able to participate in learning, build confidence, and feel safe within the school environment.
