FAQ: FAQ

Do you offer gluten free items?

Unfortunately, given the nature of our business model and the abundance of wheat and wheat based products in our bakery, on our equipment and in the air, it is virtually impossible to completely remove gluten from our products.

Do you have parking?

Downtown Middletown has an abundance of public parking.  Our preferred lot is located just behind the Rail Trail Commons.  Use 18 Orchard Street for GPS guidance (see parking guide below).  There is also ample on street parking and additional public lots on James Street and East Main Street.

Are you a Nut Free Facility?

We are not a nut-free facility. While certain items may not contain nuts, please be aware of the potential for cross-contamination. Enjoy our offerings at your own risk, and kindly note that we are not liable for any issues related to nut allergies. Thank you for understanding

How do I keep my purchases fresh?

Because there are no preservatives in our baked goods, shelf life may be shorter then what you may be used to.  Wrapped nicely, our sourdough and bread products will last 3-4 days for the best experience.  If you anticipate that it may take longer to consume your loaf, our bread freezes very well.  To bring it back, thaw on the counter and toast in a 400*F oven for 15-20 minutes.  Toasting, griddling or grilling will also enhance the crust and texture of a day old loaf.
